Review: Freeman Cucumber Peel-Off Mask

Hi everyone, I am here today with a review. A mask review to be exact. The mask I am reviewing today is the Freeman Cucumber Peel-Off mask. As someone who is obsessed with skin care products and who loves to pamper their skin, I naturally have a thing for masks. I absolutely love the way my skin feels after I use one. So when I made a trip to Walmart a couple of weeks ago and walked through the skin care aisle, I just had to pick up this mask. I didn’t have any peel off masks of my own and I desperately wanted to try one. I had only used DIY peel-off masks before (nothing against DIY, because I love making things myself). It was $3.99 which is a really good price for a mask, in my opinion. I had tried a couple of the different Freeman masks before and had really good experiences with them so I had high hopes for this one as well. I got home and immediately washed my face so I could apply the mask. It comes out as a clear gel from the tube, which I didn’t expect. It does have a strong cucumber scent which I expected. I applied an even layer of the gel to my skin and left it on as the directions said to do. It dried hard, like a lot of the masks I had tried before did. I then attempted to peel off the mask. The mask was relatively easy to peel off but did stick to the little bit of hair I have on certain parts of my face, but this was expected. Just beware of getting it too close to your eyebrows and any other hair on your face. This is not a black head mask so you cannot see much on the mask once you remove it from your face. Unfortunately, the whole mask did not come off at once; instead, I had to peel it off in little sections. On the Freeman website, it says the mask is “a super-cooling, skin-quenching mask that gently peels away impurities that can cause skin to be rough and dull.” The main ingredients are cucumber extract and aloe. I do feel like my skin was slightly softer after using the mask. The mask is targeted to people with normal or combination skin types, but I think any type of skin type would work with this mask. I didn’t notice any drastic changes from using this mask, but if you like peel off masks or have been wanting to try one out, I would maybe think about giving this one a shot. Since it is quite affordable, it won’t be much of a waste if you decide it’s not for you, but personally, I will be repurchasing this mask.
