Father’s Day Gift Guide 2017

Hey, everyone! Father’s Day is coming up soon and since my Mother’s Day Gift Guide for 2017 was such a hit, I decided to do a Father’s Day gift guide. I really hope it gives you some ideas and comes in handy. Let me know how you feel about these ideas, and if you have any good gift ideas for Father’s Day be sure to leave them in the comments!

  1. Subscription box– I feel like a subscription box is such a great gift for anyone, including Dad. They make many manly subscription boxes, but one I really like is one from Dollar Shave Club. I have personally used this box and I love it. It is affordable and the razors are great. I don’t get any knicks or cuts. Their shaving cream is one of the best I’ve ever used. They have a few different options. They have the $1 deal, $6 deal, and a $9 deal. I always did the $6 one and it was so worth it. I really only needed it every two months because the razors lasted a long time even with lots of use. If you’re interested in purchasing this for your dad or even for yourself, click this link.
  2. Lawn equipment– This is great for any dad who does any outside work or landscaping around the house. I don’t know about everyone else, but my dad takes pride in the outside of his house looking good so this is an awesome gift for him. In fact, my mom is planning on buying my father a lawn edger for Father’s Day this year.

  3. Tools– This is another easy, go-to gift for a father. I don’t know of any man that wouldn’t find these useful. You could pick up a few different tools and make a gift basket, or just pick up a set of tools from somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot. Whether it be hand tools or power tools, they are sure to make a great Father’s Day gift.

  4. Favorite Movie– For a last minute gift, you could pick up your dad’s favorite movie for him. Our Dad’s work hard and they deserve some down time to relax. You could make a gift basket out of this if you wanted by adding in popcorn, his favorite candies, and maybe some soda or his favorite kind of beer.
  5. Shot glasses/case of beer– This might not be a great gift for every dad out there, but it is definitely a great gift for many. Like I mentioned earlier, get your dad a gift to help him wind down some from his busy stressful life. You could spin this many different ways and make it more personalized, but either way, I’m sure it will be a much-appreciated gift.
  6. Jersey/game tickets– Sports is obviously the theme of this gift idea. Whether it be football, baseball, basketball, or hockey, I’m sure your dad would love a jersey for his favorite sports team or player. If you wanted to take it a step further, you could purchase a couple tickets to a game and attend with him.
  7. Watch– You could go with either a traditional watch or a smart watch depending on your budget. I think this is a basic, but staple piece that is sure to come in handy for anyone.
  8. Amazon Firestick– This is a great gift for anyone, including fathers. My father has one and he absolutely loves it. You simply plug the small device into the back of your TV and it gives you access to thousands of channels and apps. HINT: We have the “hacked” one and I think it’s the best gift we have ever received. It literally has every single movie and TV show ever made on it. Talk about the most amazing thing ever.
  9. Keurig– I included this in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide and I’m including it again now. I think that shows how highly I think of this product. You can brew both coffee and hot chocolate in the Keurig. It is convenient to pop a K-cup into the machine, press a button, and have your coffee ready for you in less than a minute. If hot drinks aren’t your dad’s thing, check out the Keurig Cold. You can get a Keurig machine for less than $100, just look around at different stores and find the best deal.
  10. Kitchen appliance– When I say kitchen appliance I don’t mean a dishwasher or a new fridge. I mean a deep fryer, indoor grill, quesadilla maker, or something along those lines. This is obviously a gift idea for dad’s who like to cook. You could also pick up some tools for grilling if your dad is into that.

Well everyone, that completes my gift ideas for the Father’s Day Gift Guide. I really hope this helps you out! If it does, let me know in the comments or forward it to your friends. Don’t forget that the most important gift to give on Father’s Day is quality time with you. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope that you will join me next time!
